Pizzeria Vittoria is a Neapolitan-inspired pizzeria showcasing naturally-leavened pizza from chef/owner Kyle Jacovino (The Florence, Five & Ten). At Vittoria, Jacovino draws from his nearly two decades of culinary experience and Italian-American heritage to craft pizzas that are an expression of regionality and his commitment to the Slow Food Movement.

Meticulously crafted with local organic grains sourced from regional millers such as Anson Mills and Lindley Mills, Jacovino’s prized dough ferments for up to 48 hours before being fired in a hand-built Neapolitan Giovanni Acunto brick oven. Baked for 90 seconds between 800 and 825 degrees.

Think a greatest hits list of sandwiches, salady and vegetable type things, baked treats; all of it funky, fresh, portable. Their homemade yukon gold potato bread is a family recipe that brings a touch of cozy to every sandwich. With thoughtful ingredients, some of it could be, may be, even—healthy.

Nixtate comes from a heritage of respect for culture and integrity. Their menu is a reflection of these values, their lives and their stories.

The flautas at Nixtate are hand rolled from house made tortillas and filled with quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. They prepare all items from scratch, start to finish and we know you will taste the effort that goes into each and every flauta.

Together, the two owners along with their dog Henri, have made Savannah home. When they aren’t cooking, they can be found enjoying farmer’s markets, museums, and drinking wine.
